Madison’s Philosophy – More than the scale 

Madison firmly believes that our health and wellness are measured beyond the number that the scale reads. Madison believes that food is meant to be enjoyed by those we love. Food should always be satisfying and provide your body with the nourishment it requires. Food is a tool that we use in order to achieve our health goals. For this reason, you will always see Madison encourages fresh, vibrant and real foods that make you feel good internally and externally. 

Madison has a non-diet approach to nutrition and she takes her role as a dietitian and food communication seriously. She will instead provide the information on food to empower you to make your own informed decision about how you feed your body. 

Madison wants you to focus on foods and lifestyle habits that you can add to your current routine in order to help you achieve your goals.

Madison’s Background 

Madison started her journey in nutrition at  St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition with Honours and Dietetics before going on to complete her dietetic practicum placement across Nova Scotia. 

After completing her internship and experiencing different areas of dietetics, Madison fell in love with helping women and more specifically helping women who have PCOS manage their condition through nutrition and lifestyle interventions. 

In order to better help those with PCOS and other hormonal imbalances, Madison kept on learning and completed additional courses in PCOS management, nutrition for fertility, and nutrition management for endometriosis.
